Arizona Community Surgeons, PC (ACS) seeks a systems specialist to support our software and EMR implementation and end-user training. The Systems Specialist will serve as the primary support for the NextGen (NG) Practice Management (PM) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Core duties will include structuring and supporting the systems architecture and serving as the software expert for ACS. Functions will include fielding questions, auditing and providing end-user training, and coordinating all “Go-Live” activities.
The systems specialist must be self-directed and able to assimilate complex information with minimal supervision. Computer literacy, organizational and project management skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are essential to this position. Further, the successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to work well with all levels of the organization from physician leadership to line staff. Must exhibit a confident, professional demeanor and remain calm under pressure.
Experience: Three plus years practical experience in a medical office environment strongly preferred. Background in systems analysis, operations flow and/or prior experience with NextGen or other CCHIT certified EMR software a major plus.
